We are looking for a talented SQL Developer/PHP Applications Developer/Web Developer, who possesses good organization, time management, and communication skills. This person will work closely with the Product Manager, Account Managers, clients and other stakeholders to develop, test and debug new tools and functionality for the organization’s current products as well as handle support tickets and ad hoc requests relating to those products.

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ business requirements and, in conjunction with designers, develop and implement web based applications using known web programming technologies (PHP, SQL, ASP, XML, etc) and development tools
 
• Design, implement, monitor, and document end-to-end SQL enterprise architecture systems
 
• Design and develop SQL processes
 
• Write stored procedures and user defined functions to implement complex business logic
 
• Create database views to hide system complexities and simplify data access
 
• Develop and implement database related applications for MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle and Access RDBMS
 
• Maintain, debug and validate our software products and websites
 
• Internal and external client support for company’s proprietary software products and registered software applications used by company employees
 
• Ongoing development and maintenance of Ecom Access software products

• Experience developing dynamic web applications with PHP and ability to maintain and upgrade our existing PHP applications
 
• A solid understanding of CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML, Apache and Javascript
 
• An understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including W3C standards compliance and issues related to cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
 
• Knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, RDBMS and their specific tools: SQL, Transact SQL, Enterprise manager, Query Analyser, phpmyadmin
 
• Knowledge of CVS and work process with CVS
 
• Basic knowledge of operating systems like Windows (2k and XP), Windows server (2k and 2k3), Linux
 
• Basic knowledge of IIS and Apache servers
 
• Basic knowledge of network services and communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL)
 
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and fun environment
 
• Willingness and ability to learn and contribute beyond basic responsibilities
 

 
Experience/Education
 
________________________________________
 
• 1 to 2 years experience in a web-based or high-tech environment or University/College background in Information Technology or computer science
