The Ottawa Contractor Resource Management Office is currently seeking a Junior Project Coordinator for a long term public sector contract opportunity in Ottawa.
Applicants must have a valid enhanced level security clearance.
Candidates must have the following experience:
- Must have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, business or computer engineering.
- In addition, you must either have completed an MBA through a university with AACSB accreditation, have completed a PMI PMP certification or have at least 3 years recent experience, interacting with clients, specifying requirements of a system, identifying administrative, economic, technical feasibility and practicality as well as identifying associated policy and organization change requirements using rapid agile business analysis.
- You must have experience developing and coding web based applications using programming languages on systems which store data on RDBMS back ends (minimum 3 years recent experience).
- You must have 3 years recent experience estimating, budgeting, scheduling and forecasting engineering tasks.
- You must have 3 years recent experience using and leading a minimum of two different software development lifecycle models.
Additional requirements:
- You must be incredibly detail oriented and bring a proven track record of strong documentation work.
- You must have previous experience providing hands-on technical engineering advise and project implementation knowledge to application development managers;
- You must have extensive testing experience.
