Background / Job Skills:
 

 
• Experience in developing a 3-tier Web applications consisting of HTML and ASP presentation layer, VB6.0 COM+ middle-tier and Oracle data layer.
 
• Experience coding HTML and ASP pages.
 
• Experience working in a 3-tier Web application design and development environment.
 
• Experience coding COM+ objects with Visual Basic 6.0.
 
• Experience coding in Java scripting and VB scripting.
 
• Experience in writing technical documents or specifications.
 

 
Job Functions:
 

 
• Creating web application models, methods, and tools that allow others to easily develop and integrate their projects into existing web contexts.
 
• Analyzing functional requirements to define and document 3-tier application components.
 
• Participating in Rapid Application Development meetings with clients or technical design teams to define requirements.
 
• Developing and refining user interfaces.
 
• Analyzing system specifications for 3-tier web based application development, to identity information, procedures and decision flows.
 
• Programming, documenting, testing and debugging all system components including: input/output sources, data structures and files, sub-systems and modules, programs both batch and online and production monitoring procedures.
 
• Programming, documenting, testing and debugging interfaces of manual to automated operations within sub-systems, to external systems and between new and existing systems.
 
• Programming, documenting, testing and debugging HTML and ASP pages, running under Internet Information Server (IIS) on an NT Server.
 
• Programming, documenting, testing, and debugging VBScript or JavaScript to complement the HTML pages.
 
• Programming, documenting, testing and debugging COM+ modules in Visual Basic.
 
• Participating in the resolution of operational connectivity or performance problems.
 
• Participating in the change management process by conducting a technical impact assessment of changes requested.
 
• Collaborating with Systems Partners (Infrastructure, System Testing and Implementation Services) to produce life cycle deliverables.
 
• Participating as a team member to meetings and working groups.
 
• Conducting knowledge transfer and coaching to other team members.
