Production MS-SQL DBA
Position Overview:
Successful candidates will have the ability to multitask and work on a large variety of different projects.
Essential Functions:
• Database Reporting and data extraction
• Coordinate with internal program teams and stakeholders to establish and implement data archiving and reporting procedures.
• Database problem diagnostics and resolution
• Migration and execution of SQL stored procedures and scripts
• Performance and tuning analysis, systems support and optimization
• Database creation and migration
• Database backup and recovery
• Database monitoring script writing
Qualifications:
Education:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
• A minimum of 5+ years as a MSSQL DBA
• Strong TSQL knowledge
• Familiar with SQL Server 2005 upgrade and configuration
• Experience developing and tuning SQL queries
• Must have excellent organization, communication and teamwork skills
• Must have demonstrated, strong attention to detail and quality
