My Client, a large Financial organization in the downtown core , requires the services of a skilled Technical Project manager
• Knowledge and experience in managing projects in the brokerage and securities industries
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS/IT, or a related field
• A minimum of 9 years success as an IT project manager, with proven people management skills
• Experience managing multiple, high-visibility projects
• Strong Project Management skills, including managing project scope, time, cost and quality
• High level of general management skills, including leading, negotiating, communicating and team building
• Extensive knowledge of project management, vendor management and people management practices
• Sound understanding of IT, including lifecycle planning, estimating and architecture
• Fully proficient in use of Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Visio and other PM tools
• Strong budgeting, business case and financial management skills
• Highly organized, with strong customer service, interpersonal and analytical skills
• PMP designation preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment
Oracle BI in some depth
Must come from a technical background involving and RDBMS - Sybase or SQL Server prefered.
Sales or Client reporting
Experience in Capital Markets
PMP or similar
Experience budgeting for a couple of small teams.
Have run 2+ projects at the same time.
Business Intelligence experience utilizing Cognos or Oracle software preferred
