Job Description:
Java Developers needed!
A successful candidate will act as a key technical resource developing and maintaining companies product, which hosts 400 web based customers from a single instance. Requirements analysis, design, hands-on development, team interaction and customer communication will be daily requirements. This candidate will have the opportunity to influence product direction and be responsible for key areas of the application. Proven skills in leading small teams and making key design decisions in a large multi-user application environment are a must.
The Job:
- Maintain, modify and customize the core application engine based on client and
internal requirements
- Advocate and promote the use of Software development principles including the development of Specification Documents, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams,
and UML Diagrams.
- Take pride in accurately scoping project requirements and delivering on time
Must Have Skills:
Qualifications
-Proven leadership & motivational skills in a team atmosphere
-Minimum of 1 to 5 years experience with J2EE, MVC, JSP, SERVLETS, XML, SPRING/STRUTS, OOP, SQL, JavaScript/CSS/DOM, and a strong grasp of
W3C HTML standards
-Strong understanding of Enterprise Design patterns
-Experience with Change Management and Version Control Systems an asset
-Experience with Resin/Tomcat/Apache is required
-Strong analytical Skills
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Demonstrable experience with the Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Web
Services and AOP is required
-Have demonstrated leadership skills, and have assisted in the architecture
of enterprise, scalable, high performance systems (for Senior Role)
-Have graduated with a degree in Computer/Software Engineering or a
related area from a recognized educational institution
